xOur bodies obtain vitamin D (which, strictly speaking is a steroid hormone) from two sources, our diet and from the action of sunlight on our skin which drives the natural production within the body. If we all had plenty of sun then we would have plenty of vitamin D, but in reality we do need to obtain some from our diet, particularly during the winter months and particularly in the elderly as the body's ability to manufacture vitamin D declines with age. Indeed as many as 60 percent of the UK population is vitamin D deficient and low levels have been linked to serious health problems in later life.
This is not surprising when one considers the fact that it is involved in the expression of more than 1000 genes. So whilst it is renowned for its vital role in the maintenance of normal bone health, in reality it actually acts on cells in every organ of the body and has extremely far-reaching effects on human health.
Each capsule of Lamberts® Vitamin D provides 2000iu (in the vitamin D3 form).

Pre-Orders
Whilst we currently do not hold these items in stock, we can supply it with confidence. As a result, delivery may take an additional 2 to 3 working days. We appreciate your understanding and patience, and we assure you that we are committed to delivering your order as promptly as possible.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
